ATi Rage3 555 / 565 - dgVoodoo 1.31 Final / Beta (MarxVeix)

There is huge perormance difference with ATi 555 vs 565 with dgVoodoo
I have used dgVoodoo 1.31 / 1.31 beta and 1.31 versions are good ones
More latest 1.40 and 1.50 versions i do not recommend for ATi Rage 3!
1.31Final/Beta are different,NFS2 has more FOG@Final, its more Blurry
Beta is sharper and has less FOG for NFS2. Both work @ Screamer Rally
Always use 565 for Glide and usually its good to use 555 for ATi3DCIF
Direct3D/3DCIF sometimes better to use 565, some games like more 555.

Reduce Dithering Effect Disabled = ATi Rage Pro is at 555 - ATi 3DCIF
Reduce Dithering Effect Enabled = ATi Rage Pro is at 565 - 3DfxGlide
PC restart is required after settings are changed at RageDev.exe tool

No need to install Rage Pro Tweaker if you want to change 555 to 565.
RageDev.exe does not need installation, still PC restart is required.
dgVoodoo works faster if 565 is enabled, some CIF games like 555 more.
TombRaider is one of the game that works normally only @ 555 setting.

Anyone can try, i have tested speed with Screamer Rally (strt3fx.exe)
and Tomb Raider (tombati.exe) with default 555 / 565, 555 for Raider.
NFS2SE - NFS3HP - NFS4HS and RageXL/RageXC has fog with dgVoodoo 1.31

ATi RageProTweaker 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2 has more options and has overclock
Needs installation, same 555/565 setting possible @Direct3D and 3DCIF
Same PC restart requirement is there with ATi RageProTweaker settings

I would use dgVoodoo 1.31 final with dgVoodoo 1.31 beta glide2x.dll:)
NFS4 has better visible text + beta has higher details than final one
Final with lower texture maybe bit faster, both versions good for Rage
